SPECIALIZATION
Fighters (but not including any subclasses) may choose to study one weapon
thoroughly, and gain such mastery over it that it seems to become a part of
the warrior. This dedication requires spending an extra proficiency point.
The fighter may have one specialty weapon for every five levels she has. In
addition, once the fighter reaches the appropriate level (see below), they may
spend more points to double or triple specialize if they wish.

Why the heck would anyone specialize in bow, you
ask? Read about how one member of our party,

Specialists who have a missile already nocked at a round's start may
fire before initiative is rolled. This does count as one of their regular
attacks, however; it merely allows them first shot.
