Since time immemorial, one lone figure has stood its silent vigil on the gaming table. This enigmatic being's small stature belies his potent aura of mysterious power. Who is this charismatic, dangerous soul who sees all that transpires at the table? Who is it that possesses the dark knowledge of what lies beyond the Dungeon Master's screen? Who is it that looks so good in third-rate chain mail and sports a deceptively goofy grin?

He is the Voodoo Orc.

The Orc is part DM's familiar, part adventure information guardian,  and part diminutive overlord at the table.  His presence is felt by all newbie gamers, for they are strongly urged to acquaint themselves with Voodoo Orc, ingratiating themselves into his good graces by placing a sincere kiss upon his beneficent person before the first adventure they partake in. 

Those who snub the Orc, or who deny his sinister influence, find out all too quickly the harsh consequences of their folly. There are stories told in whispers around dimly lit gaming tables of those who have offended the Voodoo Orc, and thus brought death and dire ruin down upon the entire party.
